１．選出された日本人ボランティアは、1年間（もしくは6ヶ月）アメリカ各地の主に学校をまわり、社会科のクラス等で日本文化紹介を兼ねた原爆映画の上映活動を行う。 ２．アメリカ側の受け入れボランティア（ホストファミリー）は、日本人ボランティアの食事、住居を提供する。 ３．渡航費用及び保険料は自己負担。 ４．選出された日本人ボランティアは、広島と長崎にて実施の合宿に参加の後、被爆の実情、日本文化、英語の3点について通信トレーニングを受け、出発まで研修を重ねる。 |
| 希望するボランティア像： １．いかなる政治組織にも所属せず、政治的・宗教的に中立な立場で活動出来る者。 ２．基礎的学力を有し、身体強健な者。 ３．性格明朗にして、意志強固な者。 ４．このプロジェクトに対する十二分の理解と熱意を示す者。 ５．基礎的英会話能力を有する者。 |

NAC volunteers use documentary videos, films and slides and other materials about Japanese culture to illustrate their programs. Volunteers provide a list of their available materials ahead of time so each presentation can be tailored to the time allotted and to the age and interest of the audience. Depending upon the volunteer, such things as calligraphy, origami, traditional songs, instrumental music and dance, martial arts, the tea ceremony,etc. may be included. NAC volunteers live with hosts in one area of the United States or Canada for up to six months, making it possible for them to reach many schools, church groups, civic clubs, camps,etc.
